An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Sister/ Charge Nurse to lead on our in-patient ward based at our Crowborough Hospital – an orthopaedic centre of excellence which has recently been categorised as outstanding by the CQC.

This Horder Centre is the 4th largest provider of arthroplasty surgery in the country and exceeds the level of specialist surgery provided by our largest in-city hospitals. This level of productivity provides an outstanding opportunity for learning, innovation and provision of the highest levels of specialist care.

We are recruiting an experienced, enthusiastic full time senior sister/charge nurse, who will lead a multi-disciplinary team in the provision of innovative high quality care on our in-patient ward. Supported by a dedicated and high-achieving multi-disciplinary team who are enthusiastic about driving quality standards within the care environment and in the hospital as a whole.

The successful candidate will need to confidently manage and provide strong leadership, with a focus on training and education, staff engagement and service development and as part of the senior nursing team have involvment in reviewing the nursing standards of the unit.
