How to refer your patient

Our referral process

At Horder Healthcare we provide the highest standards of patient care, from the time your patient is first referred to us all the way through until after their treatment is complete. Our dedicated and highly trained staff consistently achieve excellent results and patient satisfaction. For us, it’s more than just treating patients, it’s about looking after people. 

Referring your patients to Horder Healthcare is quick and easy. You can refer a patient directly to one of our consultants or alternatively, you can refer directly to Horder Healthcare.
If there is no named consultant on a referral our bookings team will select the most appropriate consultant to manage your patient's particular condition.

How to refer your patient:

• You can write an ’open referral letter’ which will advise the treatment your patient requires.
• You can request a specific consultant, in which case this will be a ‘direct referral letter’

Privately insured and self funding options for your patients

Services at Horder Healthcare are covered by most of the major health insurance companies. We also offer affordable self funding options to our patients for elective surgery and musculoskeletal services. privately insured and self pay patients.

NHS Treatment

A list of the NHS Services offered by Horder Healthcare can be found in the Directory of Services. Please note that our service is constantly being developed, so for the most up to date record please use the Electronic Referral Service. Appointments can be made online via the e-Referral service. Please note: If your practice is within the Eastbourne, Hailsham, Seaford, Lewes, High Weald and Havens area your referral must be sent to the MSK service.
