Enjoy this delicious egg free chocolate banana walnut cake as part of a healthy balanced diet. Use  free from dairy margarine and chocolate to make this recipe egg, and dairy free. However butter and regular chocolate also works well.
Total cooking time: 45mins

Ingredients

3 medium ripe bananas
170g self raising flour
100g caster sugar
1 tsp baking powder
50g margarine, melted  (free from dairy)
50g dark chocolate (broken into fragments) (free from dairy)
50g walnuts crushed

Method:
1. Pre heat oven to 180oc/ 160 oc fan
2. Mash the banana in a bowl along with the sugar
3. Add in the melted margarine and mix, followed by the baking powder and the flour. Continue to mix, adding the crushed walnuts and chocolate.
4. Once well mixed place in a greased and baking parchment lined loaf tin. Bake for 30-35 mins or until a skewer comes out clean.
