Local children from St John's Primary School came to The Horder Centre to bake and learn as part of Nutrition and Hydration Week.
The class were split into two groups, one of which went to the kitchen to bake scones and the second took part in food related crafts. Once the first batch of scones were ready for the oven the groups switch activities.
Once all of the baked goods were ready the groups got the chance to taste there snacks and learn about how food here at The Horder Centre aids the recovery of patients.
The pupils then went off around our Dufferin Ward to serve the treats to our patients and their visitors.
