As part of Nutrition and Hydration Week we will be promoting various activities at The Horder Centre.
Raising awareness and helping to understand the importance of good nutrition, Nutrition and Hydration Week is a nationwide event. The week aims to reinforce and focus, energy, activity and engagement on nutrition and hydration as an important part of quality care, experience and safety improvement in health and social care settings.
Local pupils will be coming to The Horder Centre on Tuesday 18th March to make scones and to learn about how snacks be part of a balanced diet. The freshly baked snacks will then be served for our patients to enjoy.
Worldwide Wednesday Afternoon Tea
Wednesday 19th March will see afternoon tea celebrated around the world and will be served in health and social care settings promoting the week. Stay posted for information on how you can participate in this event.
