Carrot, Orange and Ginger Smoothie

Forget buying a costly detox smoothie – simply make your own energising pick-me-up in five minutes. All you do is blitz all these ingredients together in a blender, add some crushed ice, pour into a tall glass and sip smugly. You get one of your five a day from a serving and you use up those fruits and veggies that have seen better days!

Ingredients: (Serves 4)

1 orange, peeled and split into segments
2 golden delicious apples, cored and roughly chopped
1 carrot, peeled and cut into chunks
1 tsp. crushed fresh ginger
