What our patients say

  • Michael Smith

    Physiotherapy | The Horder Centre

“I decided to fight to get back to my sport. My wife, a chiropractor, knew of the Horder Centre’s reputation so I decided to have physio there. I have to say that without the input of the physiotherapists, first Sam, then Annemarie, at The Horder, I don’t think I’d have got the 95% movement back in my arm. It helps if you’ve got a fighting mentality, and you’re not going to accept the injury, but the work they did was essential. It was quite radical physio and there were many sessions but it worked and I am forever in their debt.”

  • Robert Harber

Knee Replacement (total) | The Horder Centre

“Mr Butler-Manuel was the first consultant I saw who had any time for me and who listened to me. I think what is different about The Horder Centre is the team spiritHaving had countless operations, the Horder Centre is, in my opinion, streets above all the private hospitals I have been in. Nothing was too much trouble. After a couple of weeks I felt my knee wasn’t bending properly and within an hour, I was seeing a doctor then a specialist then a physiotherapist.”

  • Dr Lee

Knee Replacement (total) | The Horder Centre

“My experience was absolutely marvellous but the two things that made the most impression were the care and cheerfulness of everybody, even the person who dropped off the newspaper was cheerful, and when people are like that, you can’t help but be the same.”

  • Maggie de Vos

    The Horder Centre

“The Horder Centre was amazing from the minute I went in, from the level of care to the level of support. It was so clean and the staff weren’t harassed at all as you sometimes find in other hospitals. It was all great.”
