Safety measures

For Patients:

  • Patients should not attend the site if they are displaying symptoms of COVID-19 or are unwell.
  • Patients are not required to wear a facemask unless they are displaying signs of COVID-19. However, we do encourage you to wear a facemask when moving about the facility.

For Visitors:

  • Visitors and individuals accompanying patients to the Outpatient Appointments department are not required to wear a facemask unless this is a personal preference, although they may be encouraged to do so following a local risk assessment.

Whilst Horder Healthcare is implementing these changes now, it is important to remember that we will continue to monitor and review COVID-19 precautions as they are released and adjust our internal process’ to work within National Guidance.

Patient Feedback

Patient Story: Molly Williams

“I felt fully prepared for my surgery and didn’t feel in any way rushed. Going into a hospital during the Covid pandemic could have been daunting but the whole process felt very safe and highly organised."
