Mr David has been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust for over 13 years, having trained in London and the South East. His practice mainly consists of large volumes of knee and hip replacements. 

He graduated from the Royal London Hospital Medical College in 1994. Following completion of Basic Surgical Training, he became Knee Research Fellow at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore in 1999. He presented and published numerous papers and won prizes at national and international level in the fields of Joint Reconstruction and Cartilage Transplantation.

Mr David completed his specialist training on the South East rotation with Advanced Training and Fellowships at Stanmore and Guy’s & St. Thomas’s Hospitals. He was the British Orthopaedic Trainees Association Representative on the Specialty Advisory Committee and the Intercollegiate Specialty Board of Examinations and has been a member of the Royal Society of Medicine Orthopaedics Section Committee. 

He was appointed as a Consultant in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery in 2008. Since his appointment he has developed specialist interests in hip and knee replacement, complex knee arthroplasty and revision surgery and lower limb trauma surgery. He performs high volumes of hip and knee replacements with excellent outcomes on the National Joint Registry, with low complications and revision rates. 

He is currently Deputy Clinical Director in Trauma & Orthopaedics and Royal College of Surgeons Tutor for Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. He is the Enhanced Recovery lead for Hip and Knee Replacement and Clinical lead for Hip Fractures. He strives to provide excellent care for all his patientsboth in the NHS and Private sector. 

Personal Profile 

He has maintained a keen interest in sport, being a qualified Rugby Coach and plays regular Cricket as well as spending time with his wife and four children.
