Mark’s multi-faceted training means that he specialises in a wide range of orthopaedic cases. His scope of practice begins with small incision hip replacement, revision hip replacement for broken, infected or metal on metal hip problems, he also performs novel surgical procedures to manage Sacroiliac joint pain. Mark also performs knee replacements, and keyhole knee surgery. As a result of his fellowship training, he specialises in complex trauma of the upper and lower limbs, in particular, fractures into the joints and fractures of and around joint replacements.
Mark is bilingual, speaking both Welsh and English. He is married with three children and has a keen interest in martial arts, rugby and fitness. Lastly, he is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association and British Hip Society.
