Following over 30 years of yoga practice Julie decided to take a natural progression towards sharing the gift and journeyed to the Himalayas India.
There she not only obtained a 200 hour Teacher Training Certificate from the Himalayan Yoga Institute but also gained guidance on an ever evolving pathway. Julie then went on to obtain a further 100 hours qualification with Integral Yoga, Special Yoga London, in Therapeutic Gentle Yoga.
This gratifying field of extending the benefits of yoga to aid healing and recovery eliminates no one and brings a restorative calm and healthy quality of life to her individual and Spa Retreat students.
Her learnings have also enabled her to work with those faced with challenges, restrictions and illnesses in life, especially with dementia care residents at Hale Place Care Home.
Julie is now very excited to be enrolled with Yoga Medicine in the USA on a path of comprehensive education in a fascinating field which fuses the anatomy, physiology and biomechanics with traditional practices of yoga into a 500 hour Advanced Teacher Training qualification. Julie is fully insured and accredited to Yoga Alliance.
