Julie has been practising yoga for over 20 years and is extremely well qualified holding a British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) Teaching Diploma 500 hours (2004-2007), a Post-Graduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy (2011-2013), Yoga for Children Teaching Certificate (2009) and has completed the BWY Ayurveda Module as well as numerous training and workshops over many years.
She completed her Mindfulness training with the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice at Bangor University in 2012 and is an Accredited Trainer for Mindfulness at Work.
As a trained yoga therapist, experienced British Wheel of Yoga teacher (BWY) and mindfulness trainer she is fully accredited and insured with the BWY and a member of both the Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council and the International Association of Yoga Therapists.
She has many years' experience in yoga, stress reduction and mindfulness related work and has undertaken training programmes and workshops for large companies and corporations including Citibank, The White Company, The Children's Trust, Tadworth and more locally for Wealden District Council and Headway.
Julie offers a warm and friendly approach to her sessions, which allows her clients to feel relaxed and at ease, no matter what it is that they might be dealing with.
All practices are entirely tailored to the individual and no previous experience of yoga is required. Julie works with the physical, mental and emotional needs of her clients in an inspiring and highly supportive way.
Yoga sessions are caring, participative and empowering and may incorporate movement, breathing, mindful awareness, relaxation, diet and lifestyle.
