Albert Santarsieri

Chartered Physiotherapist

Albert joined Horder Healthcare in December 2016 as MSK Service Lead in Tunbridge Wells.

Following a degree in Human Biology at Kings College London specialising in advanced anatomy, Albert graduated with a degree in Physiotherapy from Bournemouth University in 2010. Albert has since worked across a range of specialties in a busy London University Hospital and since 2012 in numerous musculoskeletal outpatient physiotherapy departments across Surrey within the NHS and private sector.

Albert has gained broad ranging experience within trauma and elective orthopaedic specialties in London and provided physiotherapy for people recovering from many types of fractures and surgeries. This has allowed Albert involvement in the management of orthopaedic conditions from pre-operative and immediate post-operative care to long term rehabilitation and return to sport.

While practicing in musculoskeletal outpatient departments in London and Surrey Albert has also gained accreditation as a fully qualified sports and remedial massage therapist, and is a fully qualified, registered and regularly practicing acupuncturist since 2013. With a background in competitive sport Albert has a passion for biomechanical assessment to provide evidence based treatment and advice for injury preventative measures as well as timely recovery of injuries.

Prior to joining Horder Healthcare Albert led the design of research evidence based knee ligament injury rehabilitation guidelines and paediatric growth related conditions guidance for families and general practitioners.  Albert is passionate about identifying the origin of acute and chronic conditions within movement patterns and helping bring about improvements to alleviate the root cause of injury.
