Professional profile

Debra graduated from Brunel University in 1996 and has gained invaluable experience as a Physiotherapist and Clinical Team Lead both in the NHS and private sector.

Currently her role at Horder Healthcare is the provision, growth and quality assurance of the Clinical Pilates services across all Horder Healthcare sites. She believes strongly in the importance of exercise to treat and prevent injury as well as promote general health and vitality.

Debra is a Fully Certified APPI Pilates Instructor and delivers Modified Pilates classes at Beginners, Improvers, Intermediate and Standing Pilates level, as well as 1-1 Pilates.

In her physiotherapy role, she supports the musculoskeletal service by delivering expert post-operative care and rehabilitation. She is also an ESCAPE-Pain Trainer and Facilitator for the Health Innovation Network’s ESCAPE-Pain programme for hip and knee osteoarthritis. She is also an experienced Massage therapist.
