Hannah graduated from Brunel University in 2006. She began her career as a Physiotherapy Assistant with Horder Healthcare during her studies. Once qualified, she worked with our in-patient team.
Hannah then worked as a Junior Physiotherapist, completing her rotations within the East Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust, where she developed her interest in MSK physiotherapy. She gained additional MSK experience in the assessment and management of sports injuries whilst working both privately and at Eastbourne Rugby club. Hannah worked her way up to Lead Therapist within the team over five seasons.
In 2010, Hannah began working full time within the MSK physiotherapy team at The Horder Centre as a Senior Physiotherapist and later moved to become the MSK Service Lead for Horder Healthcare’s coastal sites. Hannah has a keen interest in assessing and treating back pain and has worked in an Extended Scope Practitioner role with Horder Healthcare since 2011.
Throughout her training, Hannah has completed further courses in sports injury management, hydrotherapy, acupuncture and Pilates (classical and modified). She believes strongly in the importance of patient education and promoting ways to self manage conditions as well as addressing the underlying causes of pain rather than just treating the symptoms.
