James qualified from the University of Brighton in 2009. He worked for the Western Sussex NHS Trust at Worthing Hospital for seven years before joining Horder Healthcare in February 2016.
During his first year at Worthing, James worked as the Physiotherapist for Brighton and Hove Albions womens team for one season where he developed pitch side skills and treatment for acute situations. He also developed skills in the weekly football clinics where players could come and be treated for football and non-football injuries.
Also during this time, James completed all areas of his junior rotation and has since worked across various departments, building up his wide range of experience. These included learning disabilities, neurology, care of the elderly, orthopaedics, MSK adults and MSK and ward based paediatrics; before leaving for Horder Healthcare, James was working as a Senior Orthopaedic Physiotherapist. Because of this work, he has specialist knowledge within post-op rehab for a variety of trauma/elective and day surgery operations.
Moving to Horder Healthcare has allowed James to develop his MSK skills and specialise in treatment of the lower limb, especially the knee, in which his musculoskeletal area of interest lies.
