We excel at patient care and our standards of service are reflected in our patient feedback. Our dedicated private patient wing, 'The Ashdown Suite', offers self-pay and privately insured patients an enhanced level of comfort and dedicated care.

Becoming a privately insured patient

If you have private medical insurance and want to choose The Horder Centre for your treatment, check with your insurer that you are covered for what you'll need, including outpatient appointments. Our surgical procedures and services are available to insured patients at The Horder Centre and our outreach clinics in Eastbourne and Seaford. Horder Healthcare is recognised by the majority of medical insurance companies.

How to book

If you have private medical insurance and want to choose Horder Healthcare for your treatment, you can ask your GP to refer you, if appropriate, explaining that you will be going through your insurance provider. You will need to confirm that you have the appropriate cover for the treatment you require with your insurance provider at each stage of treatment including the initial outpatient appointment.

The insurance provider will provide you with an authorisation number for treatment (unfortunately treatment will not be able to take place without this).

Please do not hesitate to call us on 01892 620934 or email pp@horder.co.uk for further information.
